One boater found, Coast Guard continues search for other missing mariner NEW YORK-- Coast Guard rescue crews are continuing to search for a 27-year-old man who was reported missing after not returning from a fishing trip in a small row boat near Luis Moreno Hectar, 40, was located on a sailing vessel in the mooring fields of A friend of the overdue boaters reported that the two men left at about 7 p.m. Wednesday for the trip. He reported that one of the overdue boaters called at about 10 p.m. Wednesday night and said his vessel was taking on water. The two men were not reported overdue to the Coast Guard until 6 a.m. today. A rescue crew from Coast Guard Station New Haven was launched at 6:15 a.m. and is searching the west and east banks of “The vessel reportedly capsized last night,” said Lt.j.g. Chris Miller, Coast Guard Sector Long Island Sound’s command duty officer. “The two men became separated and one managed to climb onboard a sailboat anchored offshore.
